Editorial Process
The editorial process at InsightSci Press ensures that all submitted manuscripts are evaluated fairly, transparently, and rigorously, in accordance with ethical publishing standards. Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to follow established best practices throughout the process.
1. Ethical Compliance and Plagiarism
All submissions must adhere to ethical research and publishing standards. Authors are responsible for:
l Ensuring originality of their work
l Properly citing and referencing all external sources
l Avoiding plagiarism, data manipulation, and unethical authorship practices
Submissions are screened using plagiarism detection tools. Suspected misconduct may lead to rejection or withdrawal.
2. Submission Process
Manuscripts must be submitted through the online submission system via the “Make a new submission” link on the journal or proceeding page. Authors should:
l Register and log in to the system
l Select the correct article type and follow submission instructions
l Upload the manuscript and any supplementary materials
l Review all information carefully before final submission
Submissions that do not meet formatting or scope requirements may be returned without review.
3. Peer Review Process
All manuscripts undergo peer review to assess their quality, validity, originality, and relevance. The review process may follow one of the following models:
Single-Blind Review: Reviewers remain anonymous, while authors’ identities are known.
4. Editorial Decisions
After peer review, one of the following decisions will be made:
Acceptance: The article is approved for publication. A formal acceptance letter is sent to the authors, and the manuscript proceeds to production.
Revision: Authors are asked to revise the manuscript based on reviewer feedback. In some cases, a second round of review may be required to confirm improvements.
Rejection: Manuscripts may be rejected due to ethical issues, lack of originality, insufficient evidence, methodological flaws, or content being out of scope.
Authors will be notified of the editorial decision, along with reviewer comments and editorial notes where applicable.
5. Appeals and Complaints
Authors who disagree with editorial decisions may contact the Editorial Office with a reasoned appeal. All appeals will be handled in accordance with COPE guidelines, and the editorial team’s decision will be final.
